Garbage Collection

Trash Pick Up Day:

The Recycle (Blue Container) Bin and the Garbage (Green or Black Container) Bin will now both be picked up on Thursday.  Please have your containers out by 5:30 AM Thursday morning.

Trash cans must be removed the day of the pickup. 

Trash cans should be put out the night before the pickup.

Trash is not picked up on Thanksgiving or Christmas day.  It will be picked up the next day.  In this case containers should be put out on those days.

Trash containers must be removed from the alley or street within 24 hours of collection. Trash containers must be stored out of sight of the front or rear of the property but are allowed in the alcoves of the alleys.  In the case that your lot does not have an alcove, it must be stored out of site in the backyard or garage of the lot. 

Bulk Trash Pickup

Beginning September 30th, Bulk trash is by appointment with the City of Phoenix.  Be sure to sign up to the City of Phoenix website after August 30th.

Please remember to rake and sweep after collection.
