About North Point Crossing

North Point Crossing is a private community composed of 82 homes conveniently located in North Phoenix. Our community is serviced by the award winning Paradise Valley school district, has easy access to City parks and community centers, three freeways, Interstate 17, State Route 51 and Loop 101. Great shopping at Desert Ridge, Kierland and Norterra are just minutes away.

Neighborhood Walk-Thru

This is usually done on a Monthly basis.  Please keep your property clean and free of weeds.

Remember you are responsible for the alley behind your house also.

Trash Pickup

Beginning September 30th, Bulk trash is by appointment with the City of Phoenix.  Be sure to sign up to the City of Phoenix website after August 30th.

Trash is not picked up on Thanksgiving or Christmas day.  It will be picked up the next day.  In this case containers should be put out on those days.

Trash containers must be removed from the alley or street within 24 hours of collection. Trash containers must be stored out of sight of the front or rear of the property but are allowed in the alcoves of the alleys.  In the case that your lot does not have an alcove, it must be stored out of site in the backyard or garage of the lot. 

Weeds

Weed Control: With all of the rain and unusually warm weather, weeds have begun to appear throughout the neighborhood. Some yards are worse than others… please take a look at your yards and alley’s. If you have weeds, please spray and remove them. This is a continuous battle and all residents need to make sure they have their weeds under control. Violations will be given if weeds are not removed.

Tips for Weed Control:

  • Spray small weeds that have not matured (germinated) with a post emergent herbicide product containing glyphosate (Roundup).
  • For large weeds it is recommended to pull them before they go to seed. Pull as much of the plant out of the ground as possible — roots and all!
  • For complete coverage it is advisable to apply a pre-emergent (Roundup) herbicide. It can be applied in granular form (with a spreader and watered-in) or sprayed on in liquid form.

Remember to keep your houses, garages and car doors locked. Don’t be an easy target.
